On behalf of FRANK Heimbau Main/Taunus GmbH, a residential block with a total of 39 residential units was built on Oskar-von-Miller-Straße. While on the ground floor the building still forms a continuous body about 76 meters long, on the upper floors the block breaks up into three structures, each 23 meters long. The structural connection on the ground floor responds to the urban planning requirement for block development.

Open areas are created between the individual buildings for the lighting and ventilation of the adjoining rooms, without having to maintain distances.

Thanks to the strict window arrangement and reduced use of facade elements, the edges of the building are clearly defined. Horizontal bands connect not only the main and subordinate facades but also the closed areas with the window areas. Individual layers of bricks are slightly set back. In this way, the masonry is structured and acquires plasticity.
