03.03.2025 – Kronsrode area ready for occupancy

The Kronsberg area is located in the immediate vicinity of the Hanover trade fair and is one of the largest urban development projects in the Lower Saxony capital. The 53-hectare site is divided into three independent residential areas with a total of 3,500 apartments for 7,000 to 8,000 people.

The Zvonko Turkali Architects office took part in a total of three competitions in Hanover-Kronsberg and was awarded two second and one first prize.

The winning design is now ready for occupancy; The first tenants have already moved in, the street and sidewalk are about to be opened up.

The reddish brick building ensemble with 100 apartments encloses a spacious inner courtyard. More than 30 percent of the apartments are publicly subsidized; the developer is GWH Wohnungsgesellschaft mbH Hessen.
