The aim of the design concept is clearrecognizable ensemble effect of the new building in one at the same time an independent appearance. Around the identity of the house on the one hand to achieve and on the other hand, in order to strengthen the recognizable relationships between the buildings, the new building is not planned as a monochrome monolith but is divided into a six-story base and a high-rise building rising above the base.

The base is planned to be made of solid, warm-looking masonry. It conveys gravity and a connection to the earth. The principle of development alongside the road is thereby changed recorded, the new building meets the standards of the Adapted to adjacent buildings and the brick creates a visible reference to the direct neighbors. The facade is designed as a perforated facade depending on its material. The first two levels are combined, creating a two-story base. Staggered bricks in recesses in the facade strengthen the plasticity of the base. The formation of shadows emphasizes their horizontality. pilaster strips that taper towards the top prepare the transition to the high-rise building.

The high-rise building is a glass and aluminum construction. The filigree profiles used and the lightness of the materials strengthen the verticality of the house. The final floor, which is still part of the base, takes up the design structure of the high-rise building. If you observe closely, slight changes will become apparent, for example due to the greater distance
vertical pilaster strips and the single-shell design of the
Window. This takes up the principle of neighboring buildings with recognizable “staggered floors” and addresses the transition between base and high point. By using a simple box window construction and grouping two floors into one unit – while at the same time arranging the box window offset – the high point is given effective plasticity. Brighter, more metallic looking Champagne color of the aluminum profiles reinforces this intention. The shadow formation supports the verticality of the building. Folded metal elements form the end of the building.
