Kinderkiosk at Palmengarten

The children’s kiosk KiKo is located in the north of Frankfurt’s Palmengarten. The 40 square meter building follows the course of the property on one side. It responds to the green and opens its main facade, eight meters wide, to the neighboring playground. In addition to the sales area, the kiosk offers a small changing room and a toilet.

The sales side is elevated and has a canopy and a small terrace. The red awning makes the building visible from afar.

The kiosk is built as a wooden structure and covered with Douglas fir boards of different widths. The glazed sliding window of the sales room is protected by a wooden shutter at night.
