The name takes its place

The building is still under construction, but its future presence is already beginning to emerge. Prof. Zvonko Turkali climbed up the scaffolding himself to see how the proposed lettering for the Jüdische Akademie will read on the façade.

Construction continues, and the building’s final form is gradually coming into view. Once in place, the lettering will mark a new address for education, dialogue and Jewish life in Frankfurt.

At Frankfurt’s Senckenberganlage, the Jüdische Akademie is taking shape as an ensemble that brings together a historic building and a distinctive new structure. Its name will give this special place a visible presence in the city.
