Seit dieser Zeit dient es dem Frankfurter Kunstverein, einer \u00fcber die Grenzen Frankfurts anerkannten Institution moderner Kunst.<\/p>\n<p>Im Zuge der Sanierungs- und Modernisierungsma\u00dfnahmen ist der Eingangsbereich samt Foyer vergr\u00f6\u00dfert worden. Die nach dem Krieg wieder aufgebauten, offenen Arkaden des Steinernen Hauses haben gro\u00dfe, rahmenlose Verglasungen erhalten. Sie dienten zun\u00e4chst als Ausstellungsfl\u00e4chen. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Wenige Jahre sp\u00e4ter erfolgte hier der Einbau eines erfolgreich betriebenen Museumscaf\u00e9s mit eigenem Zugang. Die Ausstellungsr\u00e4ume verf\u00fcgen seit dem Umbau \u00fcber neue Lichtdecken und eine Klimatisierung.<\/p>\n<p>Die durchgef\u00fchrten Bauma\u00dfnahmen zeigen einen respektvollen Umgang mit der denkmalgesch\u00fctzten Bausubstanz. Das Steinerne Haus samt Anbau sind den modernen Anforderungen an Ausstellungsgeb\u00e4ude angepasst und zugleich in ihrem Wesen erhalten worden.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>        <img Since then it has served the Frankfurter Kunstverein, a modern art institution recognized beyond Frankfurt's borders.<\\\/p>\\n\n\n<p>As part of the renovation and modernization measures, the entrance area including the foyer was enlarged. The open arcades of the Stone House, which were rebuilt after the war, have large, frameless glazing. The stone house and its extension have been adapted to modern requirements for exhibition buildings and at the same time their essence has been
