Residential House Bromig
Being at the end of a row of terraced houses from the 1950ies a one-story annex received an one-story addition as well as a new floor plan. On a very small developable area next to a garage the medical office of a sports physician established. Located above is a refined two-bedroom apartment with an enclosed room in the center, which serves as a stairwell. Service rooms and closets are located at the firebreak wall. Ceiling high sliding doors allow the blending of rooms as well as their separation. Generous fanlights and floor-to-ceiling windows gloss over the small floor space.
Due to the given situation only a light wooden structure was possible. The addition stands out in its form and material: The ground floor with orange-red plaster, the top floor with a grey-blue wooden facade.
