Children Kiosk in Palmengarten

The children kiosk ‘KiKo’ is located on the northern end of the Palmengarten in Frankfurt. The forty square meter building is adapted to the course of the property on the one side. It is embedded in the green and faces the adjacent playground with its main facade of eight meters. Apart from the selling space, the kiosk also contains a small baby-care room and bathroom.

The front of the building is super-elevated and has a canopy and a small terrace. The red awning increases the visibility of the building, even from the distance.

The kiosk is built from wood and is revetted with Douglas fir boards of different widths. A wooden shutter protects the glazed sliding window of the retail space at night.
