4th Prize in Reutlingen

Turkali Architekten were awarded the fourth prize in the invitation competition for the inner-city redevelopment of the postal area and the new construction of an industrial museum. The city of Reutlingen had invited 30 teams from Germany, Switzerland and Austria to submit entries. The competition revolved around the urban, open space and traffic concept planning for the development of a new, centrally located city district in the immediate vicinity of the Reutlingen train station. In the realization part of the competition, a new museum was to be planned on the grounds of the former Wandel company, which will accommodate an impressive display of Reutlingen's industrial history.

Turkali Architekten participated in the competition together with the landscape architects Riel Bauermann + Partner from Kassel. The traffic concept planning was carried out by Stete Planung from Darmstadt.
