Shortly after the foundation slab for the new building was laid, the President of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, Dr. Josef Schuster, paid another visit to the construction site at Senckenberganlage 11 in western Frankfurt.

He was accompanied by Harry Schnabel, Member of the Board of the Central Council of Jews in Germany and Member of the Board of the Jewish Community Frankfurt, Prof. Dr. Doron Kiesel and Sabena Donath, Director respectively Head of the Education Department of the Central Council of Jews, Werner Bappert, Project Manager of IBBA Ingenieurbüro Bappert, as well as Prof. Zvonko Turkali and Dominik Loh of Zvonko Turkali Architekten.

Dr. Schuster was impressed by the construction site, especially by the necessary structural strengthening measures in the old building and the securing of the excavation pit. He was pleased with the progress of the entire construction project.
