Architecture Guide Hannover 2022 by Prof. Zvonko Turkali & Dr. Jens Broszeit, published by DOM publishers

The last time an Architecture Guide to Hannover was published, was in the year 2000 on the occasion of the World's Fair. In collaboration with their students at the Faculty of Architecture and Landscape at Leibniz Universität Hannover, Prof. Zvonko Turkali and Dr. Jens Broszeit have now published an Architecture Guide with a total of 445 pages, which makes you excited about exploring the city and its architecture.

Via seven geographically structured tours, the publication traces the architectural history of Lower Saxony's state capital from the Middle Ages to the present day. More than 330 objects are showcased, including medieval fortified towers, baroque landscape gardens and exhibits of brick expressionism. They vividly illustrate the diversity of Hanoverian architecture.

The book also includes contemporary architecture and makes you want to take one, two or even seven strolls through Germany's greenest city.

The students and their lecturers created the object photographs and texts as well as several architectural drawings as part of a seminar held by Dr. Jens Broszeit at Leibniz University Hannover.
