Since 1967 the Central Association of Architects in Austria awards the Bauherrenpreis. The award goes to personalities who have rendered outstanding service to the built environment in Austria.
Maximum four buildings in each of the nine states will be nominated for the Bauherrenpreis. The jury, consisting of Marta Schreieck/Wien, Otto Kapfinger/Wien and Zvonko Turkali/Frankfurt, will determine from 36 submissions the prize winner.

The jury will be in session early September. The award presentation ceremony is scheduled for November 14^th, 2014 in Vienna, Austria.
