At the invited competition in Hannover Kronsberg Turkali Architekten were awarded the 2nd prize.

The competition design comprises a homogeneous building ensemble of reddish brick with 130 apartments. The apartments are partly privately financed and partly subsidized. One third of the apartments are planned for senior citizens. The corner of Kattenbrookstrift and Stockholmer Allee provides a design highlight. A senior citizens' residential café is arranged here. At this prominent location, it can also serve as a neighbourhood meeting place.

The Kronsberg area is located in the immediate vicinity of the Hannover Fair and is one of the largest urban development projects in the capital of Lower Saxony. The 53 hectare site is divided into three independent residential areas, with a total of 3500 apartments for 7000 to 8000 people.
