The Upper Austrian provincial capital Linz has appointed Professor Zvonko Turkali to its advisory board for urban design as from September 2019. The Linz Advisory Board was established in 1988 and served as a model for many subsequently established design advisory boards in Austria and Germany, due to its organisational structure and positive impact. The committee, consisting of four urban planning and architecture experts, assesses building projects that are characteristic for the cityscape due to their size and location.
