Groundbreaking for the Construction of the Sports Park "Frankfurter Bogen"

Yesterday sports and leisure officer Markus Frank, municipal administrator Robert Lange, head of the sports office Georg Kemper, CEO of FAAG TECHNIK Andreas Schröder and architect Zvonko Turkali laid the foundation for the EUR 14 Million sports park project "Frankfurter Bogen" in Preungesheim.

Based on the planning of Turkali Architekten a modern athletics ground as well a gymnasium with three courts will be built on a devolopable area of 65,000 square meters. An important aspect of gymnasium architecture is daylight: large skylights and an extensive window front on the west side of the wooden paneled building generate a pleasant light-flooded atmosphere. The city skyline can be viewed from a large window on the gallery.
