Exhibition Opening for the Austrian Builders Award 2014

28.04.2015
Awarded Projects are shown at the Faculty for Architecture and Landscaping in Hanover

“I’m happy that I can present the show of all 27 nominated projects here in Hanover only after the prize-giving and exhibition in Vienna, “ said Professor Zvonko Turkali in his welcoming speech.  “The show gives an overview of the current Austrian architecture. Furthermore we have a renowned publicist guest, Otto Kapfinger, who will explain with his competent knowledge the characteristics of the Alpine architecture.”

27 buildings had been nominated, 7 have been awarded after the jury (consisting of Marta Schreieck, Vienna; Otto Kapfinger, Vienna; Zvonko Turkali, Frankfurt am Main) had visited all nominated buildings. Due to the high quality, the other 20 nominations received a certificate of recognition.

With the builders award the „Zentralvereinigung der ArchitektInnen Oesterreichs“ wants to honor individuals who have made themselves worthy to the building culture.
