Typisch f\u00fcr den Ortskern sind die \u00fcber mehrere Jahrhunderte entstandenen Bauernh\u00f6fe. Deren Fassaden waren aus Bruchstein, der in einem nahe gelegenen Steinbruch abgebaut wurde. <\/p>\n<p>In Folge der energetischen Sanierung und der damit verbundenen fl\u00e4chendeckenden D\u00e4mmung der Geb\u00e4udefassaden, die ab Mitte der 1960er einsetzte und bis in die sp\u00e4ten 1970er Jahre andauerte, wurde das \u00fcber Generationen entstandene, homogene Erscheinungsbild der Ortschaft nachhaltig ver\u00e4ndert.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Die Ver\u00e4nderung der Geb\u00e4udephysiognomie traf auch die 1929 errichtete, sogenannte Alte Turnhalle. Die Bezeichnung des Geb\u00e4udes als Alte Turnhalle war streng genommen unzutreffend, da das Haus selten f\u00fcr Sport genutzt wurde. Wesentlich intensiver wurde es f\u00fcr Veranstaltungen, insbesondere zur Karnevalszeit, eingesetzt.<\/p>\n<p>Durch den Umbau und die Erweiterung um eine Bibliothek sowie mehrere Versammlungsr\u00e4ume sollte die Alte Turnhalle ihrer tats\u00e4chlichen Nutzung angepasst werden: Einem Dorfgemeinschaftshaus.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Der Bestandsbau wurde im Inneren umfangreich saniert und mit einem \u00fcber seine L\u00e4ngsseite angebauten Foyer erg\u00e4nzt. Ein l\u00e4ngliches Pultdachgeb\u00e4ude entlang der westlichen Grundst\u00fcckseite nimmt die neue Bibliothek und die Versammlungsr\u00e4ume auf. Gemeinsam mit dem Foyeranbau bildet es einen trapezf\u00f6rmigen, zur Stra\u00dfe hin ge\u00f6ffneten, leicht erh\u00f6hten Platzraum.<\/p>\n<p>Das neue Dorfgemeinschaftshaus bedient sich modern gestalterischen Mitteln, wie Skelettbau, Sichtbeton, Metallfenster und Blechdach und schl\u00e4gt mit seiner Fassade aus Bruchstein und der geneigten Dachform des Neubaus zugleich eine Br\u00fccke zum An elongated lean-to roof building along the western side of the property accommodates the new library and meeting rooms.
