Im Jahr 1997 wurde ein Antrag der Gemeinde f\u00fcr den Neubau einer Sakristei vom Bisch\u00f6flichen Generalvikariat in Fulda positiv beschieden.<\/p>\n<p>Die neue Sakristei umschlie\u00dft in Parabelform den Kirchenchor und bietet auf circa 160 Quadratmetern Platz f\u00fcr Priester, K\u00fcster, Lektoren, Messdiener sowie Gew\u00e4nder und sakrale Ger\u00e4te.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>.In die Gro\u00dfform der Sakristei sind zwei Hohlr\u00e4ume eingelassen: Ein mit Kopfsteinpflaster befestigter Hof ist zum Stra\u00dfenraum ge\u00f6ffnet und definiert den Eingang zum Geb\u00e4ude. Ein kleinerer von zwei Sakristeir\u00e4umen f\u00fcr Priester und Messdiener sowie der Au\u00dfenmauer umschlossener Hof ist dreiseitig verglast und nur zum Himmel ge\u00f6ffnet. Sein Boden ist mit Wasser bedeckt.<\/p>\n<p>Ein direkt am Eingangshof gelegener Gruppenraum dient verschiedenen Gemeindeaktivit\u00e4ten. \u00dcber eine verschiebbare Glaswand kann der Raum vollst\u00e4ndig zum Eingangshof ge\u00f6ffnet werden.\u2028<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Die gebogene Kirchenwand aus rotem Sandstein und die zwischen den Betonscheiben eingelassenen Glastafeln charakterisieren den Weg aus der Sakristei zum Altar. Sie lassen eine besondere r\u00e4umliche Sequenz mit vielf\u00e4ltigen Blickbez\u00fcgen in die einzelnen Sakristeir\u00e4ume, die H\u00f6fe und zum Himmel entstehen.<br \/>Der Bruchstein f\u00fcr die Au\u00dfenwand der Sakristei stammt aus dem gleichen Steinbruch, wie der Stein, der bereits f\u00fcr den Bau der Kirche verwendet wurde.<br \/>Einzig Format und Oberfl\u00e4che des Steins sind ver\u00e4ndert.
