Stellenweise sind noch Baul\u00fccken vorzufinden, die auf Bombardements der Stadt zum Ende des Zweiten Weltkriegs zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren sind. In derartigen Lagen sind die hohen Brandw\u00e4nde angrenzender H\u00e4user sichtbar und der Blick bis tief in das Innere des Geb\u00e4udeblocks ge\u00f6ffnet.<\/p>\n<p>Eine solche r\u00e4umliche Situation galt es mit dem neuen Schulgeb\u00e4ude zu bebauen. Der st\u00e4dtebaulichen Logik folgend nimmt der Neubau die H\u00f6he des Nachbargeb\u00e4udes auf. Er ist zugleich stra\u00dfen- wie auch brandwandbegleitend erstellt. Die Entscheidung zum einseitigen Anbau des Geb\u00e4udes f\u00fchrt erfahrungsgem\u00e4\u00df zur Einschr\u00e4nkung in der Tageslichtnutzung und erfordert eine besondere Grundrissl\u00f6sung.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>W\u00e4hrend alle Klassenr\u00e4ume an den drei tageslichtzugewandten Seiten des Hauses angeordnet sind, verbindet eine an der Brandwand positionierte, repr\u00e4sentative Treppe die einzelnen Etagen. Das Zentrum des Neubaus ist nicht bebaut. Dieser unbebaute Kern schafft einen \u00fcber die gesamte H\u00f6he des sechsgeschossigen Geb\u00e4udes reichenden, \u00fcberdachten Innenhof.<\/p>\n<p>\u00dcber die R\u00e4nder der Hof\u00fcberdachung gelangt das zenitale Licht in das Innere und verleiht dem Haus eine besondere Atmosph\u00e4re, die je nach Tages- und Jahreszeit wechselt. Die hofumfassenden W\u00e4nde sind aus satinierten Glasbausteinen erstellt, durch die ein diffuses Tageslicht in die angrenzenden R\u00e4ume gelangt.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>        <img In some places there are still vacant lots that can be traced back to the bombing of the city at the end of the Second World War. In such locations, the high fire walls of adjacent houses are visible and the view opens deep into the interior of the building block.<\\\/p>\\n\n\n<p>Such a spatial situation had to be developed with the new school building. The center of the new building is not built on.
