Das gro\u00dfz\u00fcgig dimensionierte Grundst\u00fcck erlaubte die Realisierung einer weitl\u00e4ufig angelegten Schulanlage mit mehreren gleichberechtigten Zug\u00e4ngen. Das Ensemble besteht aus zwei bis drei Geschosse hohen Solit\u00e4rbauten, die durch ein orthogonales System aus eingeschossigen Fluren miteinander verbunden sind. Pr\u00e4gnant bei der Gestalt der in mehreren Bauabschnitten realisierten Geb\u00e4ude sind ihre Fassaden, die nahezu durchg\u00e4ngig mit wei\u00dfen Stahlbetonrahmen, Ausfachungen aus hellroten Ziegelsteinen oder wei\u00dfem Putz versehen sind. Diese einheitliche Materialit\u00e4t verleiht der Gesamtanlage ein homogenes Erscheinungsbild.<\/p>\n<p>Der stetige Ausbau des Schulprogramms, von der praktischen Ausbildung in den sozialen Berufen bis hin zur Erlangung der allgemeinen Hochschulreife, lie\u00df in nur zwanzig Jahren die Zahl der Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fcler von 200 auf derzeit etwa 800 steigen. Die starke Zunahme der Schulbesucher und die ver\u00e4nderten Unterrichtsformen samt Ganztagsbetreuung erforderten zus\u00e4tzliche Unterrichtsr\u00e4ume, eine Cafeteria sowie einen \u201eRaum der Stille\u201c.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Die Erweiterungsr\u00e4ume sind in drei Neubauten organisiert. Mit einer internen, parallel zur Stra\u00dfe \u201eAm Rolandsbad\u201c verlaufenden Schulstra\u00dfe sind sie in die Innere Erschlie\u00dfung der Bestandsbauten eingebunden. In ihrer Materialit\u00e4t nehmen sie deutlich erkennbare Bez\u00fcge zum Bestand auf.<\/p>\n<p>Die beiden Endpunkte der Anlage bilden von nun an eine kleine Kapelle im Osten und eine Cafeteria im Westen des Grundst\u00fccks.<\/p>\n<p>Die Kapelle stellt mit ihrer H\u00f6he von zw\u00f6lf Metern ein weithin sichtbares Zeichen der katholischen Einrichtung dar. Ihre Innen- und Au\u00dfenw\u00e4nde sind aus massivem, wei\u00df geschl\u00e4mmtem Mauerwerk erstellt. Als \u201eRaum der Stille\u201c dient die kleine Kapelle f\u00fcr Meditation, f\u00fcr schulische Gottesdienste und als Tageskirche f\u00fcr die benachbarte katholische Gemeinde. Die ruhige, introvertierte Atmosph\u00e4re des Raumes entsteht durch dessen steinerne Materialit\u00e4t und das Tageslicht, das auf unterschiedliche Weise in das Innere gelangt: in den Morgenstunden als direktes Sonnenlicht durch den schmalen, geosteten Fensterschlitz, tags\u00fcber als D\u00e4mmerlicht durch die perforierte, raumhohe Mauerwerkswand oder als halbdunkles Hintergrundlicht \u00fcber dem Deckenkreuz.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Die Cafeteria ist der Ort, der die besondere landschaftliche Situation der Schule am st\u00e4rksten herausstellt: Sie \u00f6ffnet sich mit ihrer verglasten L\u00e4ngswand zum Gr\u00fcn und macht die Natur zum Bestandteil des Inneren. Ein r\u00e4umlich herausgebildetes Oberlicht unterst\u00fctzt die Idee eines hellen, freundlichen Raumes, der f\u00fcr diverse, auch au\u00dferschulische Veranstaltungen geeignet ist.<\/p>\n<p>Der neue Klassentrakt ist direkt an ein Bestandsgeb\u00e4ude angebaut. Er nimmt dessen Proportionen und das gestalterischen Regelwerk auf. Gro\u00dfformatige Glasfl\u00e4chen in den Unterrichtsr\u00e4umen sorgen f\u00fcr eine gute, gleichm\u00e4\u00dfige Tageslichtnutzung.<\/p>\n<p>Ein neues Portalbauwerk st\u00e4rkt die Adressbildung des Schulensembles und definiert den Haupteingang der Schule.<\/p>\n<p>Die Realisierung der Neubauma\u00dfnahmen erfolgte im laufenden Betrieb. Dies gilt auch f\u00fcr alle Umbauma\u00dfnahmen, die aufgrund des veralteten Brandschutzes und einer fehlenden barrierefreien Erschlie\u00dfung erforderlich waren.<\/p>\n<p>Weitere Projekte im The generously sized property allowed the realization of a spacious school complex with several equal entrances. The ensemble consists of two to three storeys high solitary buildings that are connected to each other by an orthogonal system of single-storey corridors. What is striking about the shape of the buildings, which were constructed in several construction phases, are their facades, which are almost entirely provided with white reinforced concrete frames, infills made of light red bricks or white plaster. This uniform materiality gives the entire system a homogeneous appearance.<\/p>\n\n\\n\n\n<p>The constant expansion of the school program, from practical training in social professions to obtaining general university entrance qualifications, has allowed the number of students to rise from 200 to currently around 800 in just twenty years.
