Prototype for the Branches of the Frankfurter Sparkasse
Turkali Architekten developed new design principles that shall serve as the basis for all future renovations of the Frankfurter Sparkasse branches. The objective is to increase the memorability of the Sparkasse and to emphasize the strong ties of the Frankfurt institute with the Sparkasse Finance Group.
On the one hand the design concept constitutes recurring elements, such as installations and furniture, as well as colors and surface materials. On the other hand it offers creative principles that can be adapted to the different spatial settings.
The first prototype was realized at the branch on Hanauer Landstrasse only a few months after the design principles had been drawn up.
