Brochure provides insights into the work of an architectural and world heritage advisory board

In celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Architectural and World Heritage Advisory Board of Karlsruhe, the City Planning Office has published a brochure that provides insights into the activities and significance of an Architectural and World Heritage Advisory Board.

"What valuable contribution provides a building project beyond its actual task to society?" is the central question that members of the Architectural and World Heritage Advisory Board of Karlsruhe have dealt with since its founding in 2007.

Using a total of 162 projects from the past decade as examples, the recommendations of the experts of the Architectural and World Heritage Advisory Board of Karlsruhe are presented, which have been developed in dialogue with a wide range of stakeholders.

"One of the main goals of an Architectural and World Heritage Advisory Board is to cultivate a public dialogue on the significance and form of architecture in interaction with urban space and landscape," says Prof. Zvonko Turkali of Zvonko Turkali Architekten, who was a member of the board for a total of seven years and its chairman for four years.
